HOTEL 128
L’hôtel 128 est le bâtiment dans lequel dormaient les postiers en formation : 128 chambres sur 4 étages, 128 « cellules » dans lesquelles on ne dort plus mais où l’on peut rêver les yeux grands ouverts. 
Le principe est simple :  

- Chaque année, de mars à août, des artistes interviennent dans une série de chambres pour créer leur univers du sol au plafond, en passant bien entendu par les murs, et en y intégrant s’ils le souhaitent des toiles. Une chambre, un artiste. 
- A partir de septembre, les chambres de la saison sont ouvertes au public. 

Les 51 premières chambres ont été investies en 2017. Les autres le seront en 2018 (43 chambres) et 2019, l’année 2020 devant préserver l’ensemble pour une visite complète. 
Le cycle doit se renouveler à partir de 2021. 
Si l’on veut prendre son temps pour s’imprégner à plein de l’atmosphère créée par les artistes, 51 chambres c’est déjà beaucoup ! Alors lorsque les 128 chambres seront accessibles, il faudra prévoir plusieurs jours pour éviter l’overdose… 
Ceci n’est pas une critique, simplement un avertissement pour qui veut apprécier pleinement cette œuvre collective – qui intègre bien sûr les murs extérieurs et les différentes salles d’expositions.
Dans ces chambres, on trouve des artistes renommés, d'autres qui sont en devenir, du bon, parfois du moins bon, ça c'est à l'appréciation de chacun.
Des livres ont été édité et sont en souscription (voir ICI).
Moins d'une dizaines de cellules ont été refaites en 2021, je ne les ai pas visitées, faute de temps.
Ce sera pour l'année prochaine...
